The mugs are made of solid copper with a brass handle, known to purify liquids and keep beverages ice cold. The addition of a hammered finish also helps to keep the drink chilled, as the divots in the copper helps to distribute the heat from external sources around the mug more evenly.
If you are unfamiliar with copper, please be aware that all pure copper tarnishes and looks better with age. To keep the original shine of your mug we recommend using a shining solution.
The inside of the mug is not lacquered in order gain the full benefit of drinking from copper.
Low-Maintenance Upkeep
Each of our copper products require a few simple steps after use to maintain their quality. Copper should be cleaned using a mild dish soap and warm water, followed by two drying sessions using a soft cloth.
